Fieldwork in the Northwest Pacific

± two weeks in August/September

you get:
- a plane ticket
- valuable experience

you have:
- a drivers license
- two able hands
- experience/interest in botany welcome, but not necessary
- your own camping gear

Assist a postdoc from the Field Museum with her field work! We’ll drive around in beautiful scenery and take leaf samples and inventory the vegetation over elevation transects in different parts of the Pacific Northwest and perhaps take surface sediment samples from small lakes."

Não tenho equipamento de campismo e tambem a Joana decerteza ponha-me uns patins (para alem disso é muito melhor passar tempo com a Joana do que com uma pos-doc... um botânica... a hipotese de ela não ser terrivel à vista é de 1/100). Mas decerteza seria uma viagem gira de fazer e ainda por cima seria uma daquelas viagens toda no mato/campo longe de tudo com vistas incriveis. Enfim, fico restringido à investigação de economia... à frente de uma secretária, com nenhuma vista (tirando o backround the Windows Vista ou XP) e a ler papers o dia todo.
